Years ago, I thought I knew all I would need to know

The story changed and I would still pretend
Now change is coming slow
After all, we don’t deserve this

I try to make the best of things
even though it always feels like someone’s trying to get me from behind
It feels like life is never fair
Enemies are everywhere
or maybe I’m caught up inside my mind

But at least piece by piece, things are coming back together
It all feels real familiar to say the least
For lack of better words, I'm sick of all the shit
It's piled up high and I'm stuck in it
I'm looking real hard but I see
Static and panic is building up deep down inside of me
